Requirements of the Burger King Fund
The Burger King McLamore Foundation sponsors the Burger King Scholars Program. The scholarship amount totals $1,000. This is the company's main scholarship program. There is also a smaller program that is solely for employees of the chain.
In order to qualify for the Burger King Scholars Program, applicants must attain the following qualifications according to their official website:
- Be a senior student in a public, private, vocational, technical, parochial, or alternative high school in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico.
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Work an average of 15 hours a week
- Participate in community service or similar co-curricular activities
